History of the Journal
The Society has published its Journal since 1937. Dr. Myron H. Luke* was the editor from 1950 to 1996, retiring at the age of 90. Four issues a year were published initially, vols. 25-33 had one or two issues. Since 1980 the Journal has appeared annually with more white pages than in earlier years. In the last decade, each issue has ranged between 48 and 68 pages, averaging 56 pages per issue.
