SUBMITTING ARTICLES

The editors welcome submission of essays to consider for publication dealing with any aspects of Nassau County history, including when the area was part of Queens County in the colonial period. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically as a Word file (including endnotes) to Natalie.A.Naylor@Hofstra.edu or to Paul van Wie (pvanwie@molloy.edu). The Journal generally uses The Chicago Manual of Style (or Turabian). Illustrations or photographs should be in separate files, not embedded in the text. It is the author’s responsibility to obtain permission to publish illustrations. Most of our articles are between 3,000 and 6,000 words.
